Mission Statement

Day Break is a ministry called to bring the light of the Gospel to a hurting and lost world.  The core principle of faith is the driving force that is instrumental in imparting the message of Jesus Christ into the hearts of the hurting and the lost. The purpose and vision of Day Break Ministries is to reach, teach, equip and empower, men and women, who are called to the work of the ministry with the message of Jesus Christ.

Who is Jahmah Kenyatta?

Born in Chicago, Illinois, Evangelist Jahmah Kenyatta has served faithfully in the ministry of Jesus Christ for the past 15 years.  Ten of those years of service were in his home town, the mission field of Chicago Illinois.   Evangelist Kenyatta has also served in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, Atlanta,Georgia  and Davenport, Iowa.

Currently he is serving in Rockford, Illinois.

Isaiah 42:6–9 (ESV)

6 “I am the Lord; I have called you in righteousness;
I will take you by the hand and keep you;
I will give you as a covenant for the people,
a light for the nations,
7 to open the eyes that are blind,
to bring out the prisoners from the dungeon,
from the prison those who sit in darkness.

8 I am the Lord; that is my name;
my glory I give to no other,
nor my praise to carved idols.
9 Behold, the former things have come to pass,
and new things I now declare;
before they spring forth
I tell you of them.”
