She was born and raised in suburban Atlanta, Georgia. She is a 1992 graduate of Texas Christian University and is working toward a degree from Georgia State. Family ties brought her to Union Christian Church where she has been a Sunday School teacher, Youth Activity Director and High School and College group leader. She now serves by taking care of the finances for Union Church and is a Trustee of the Lorrie A Smith Memorial Scholarship Fund. Ann says " I was fortunate to be raised in a Christian home where I was taught the value of faith and hard work. Growing up in church I can see the needs of Ministers, their families and other leaders and workers in the church after putting so much of themselves into God's work. Burnout is real and we need workers on fire for the Lord. Daybreak Ministries can help to keep the fire burning."
